Custom MiniFASTCAR Tough Cars

Q: What is MiniFASTCAR
A: It’s a new motorsport that lets you drive a real 4 foot long car, on a track outside, while you control it remotely from a driving station inside, by a live video feed from an in-car camera. It’s the only one of its kind in the world.

Q: Is it remote control?
A: Sort of. It’s a patented technology using digital communications called Remote Vision Control.

Q: How long is a race?
A: About 20 – 30 laps, depending on how good you are.

Q: How big are they?
A: MiniFASTCARs are about 4 feet long and weigh about 30 lbs.

Q: How fast do they go?
A: On novice settings you can achieve speeds up to 30 mph. But because these are quarter-scale cars, visually you appear to be going up to 4 times faster – so visually it looks like 120 mph. On more experienced settings, the cars will go 40 mph or more, giving you a 160 mph visual experience.

Q: What happens if I crash?
A: Most times the car simply bounces off the wall and maybe the track marshal has to turn you around. If you crash too badly you may be out of the race—just like real racing.

Q: Are they like go-karts or virtual reality?
A: Not at all—MiniFASTCARs are totally unique. You really have to experience it to get it.

Q: Are they safe?
A: Definitely. Since you’re not physically in the car, you can’t get hurt—even if you roll the car.

Q: What do they run on?
A: They’re powered by a 2-stroke, 23 cc, 2-horsepower engine—the same found in many go-peds.

Q: How much do the cars cost?
A: We don’t sell the cars, they have a lot of proprietary technology in them that you would not be able to use without a Racing Visions driving booth and computer system—they only function as part of a complete system.

Q: But what if I want my own car?
A: We can sell you a body shell that you can customize and we can put it on your car when you race.
